Call To Order.
On Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at 10:00 A.M., the Honorable Lori E. Lightfoot, Mayor, called the City Council to order and noted that due to the declared public disaster caused by COVID-19 and pursuant to lllinois Executive Order 2020-07, issued by Governor JB Pritzker on March 16,2020, suspending provisions of the Open Meeting Act and encouraging remote participation, this meeting was being conducted by videoconference.
The Honorable Andrea M. Valencia, City Clerk, then called the roll of members and it was found that there were present at that time: Aldermen La Spata, Hopkins, Dowell, King, Hairston, Sawyer, Mitchell, Harris, Beale, Sadlowski Garza, Thompson, Quinn, Burke, Lopez, Coleman, Moore, Curtis, OShea, Taylor, Brookins, Rodriguez, Tabares, Scott, Sigcho-Lopez, Maldonado, Burnett, Ervin, Taliaferro, Reboyras, Cardona, Waguespack, Rodriguez-Sanchez, Ramirez-Rosa, Villegas, Mitts, Sposato, Nugent, Vasquez, Napolitano, Reilly, Smith, Tunney, Gardiner, Cappleman, Martin, Osterman, Hadden, Silverstein - 48.

Mayor Lightfoot led the City Council and assembled guests in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America.
