Call To Order.
On Wednesday, April 15, 2020 at 10:00 A.M., the Honorable Lori E. Lightfoot, Mayor, called the City Council to order and noted that pursuant to Illinois Executive Order 2020-07, issued on March 16, 2020 and suspending in-person attendance requirements of the Open Meetings Act and encouraging remote participation, that this meeting was being conducted by videoconference. The clerk then called the roll of members and it was found that there were present at that time: Aldermen La Spata, Hopkins, Dowell, King, Hairston, Sawyer, Mitchell, Harris, Beale, Sadlowski Garza, Thompson, Cárdenas, Quinn, Burke, Lopez, Coleman, Moore, Curtis, OShea, Taylor, Brookins, Rodriguez, Tabares, Scott, SigchoLopez, Maldonado, Burnett, Ervin, Taliaferro, Reboyras, Cardona, Waguespack, RodriguezSanchez, Austin, Ramirez-Rosa, Villegas, Mitts, Sposato, Nugent, Vasquez, Reilly, Smith, Tunney, Gardiner, Cappleman, Martin, Osterman, Hadden -- 48.

Mayor Lightfoot led the City Council and assembled guests in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America.
Invocation.
Alderman Cappleman opened the meeting with prayer.
